Liberation!

Here ItSelf! Right Now!

(Unique Spiritual Experiences of Lord Krishna’s Beloved Radha’s Re-incarnation Vasantha Sai)

The subject of this interesting book is the unique spiritual experiences of a lady devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba who loves and worships Him intensely in her Madhura Bhakti bhava.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba revealed to her in meditation that she was Radha in one of her previous births : "Radha lived in Krishna’s consciousness. That Radha is you alone."

As a staunch devotee of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for the last 24 years, Sai Vasantha has been having countless visions, dreams and miraculous experiences of the amazing grace of her Divine Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba. In meditations He has taken her to Vaikuntha (Heaven), a unique Silver Island, Nara Narayana Gufa Ashram in the Himalayas and to various Lokas and Gods and Rishis. Her conversations with Bhagavan have centred on the three kinds of Mukti. (Liberation or Salvation) - the Saalokya Mukti, the Sameepya Mukti and the Saarupya Mukti.

This is a very informative and emotionally appealing book on Spirituality for spiritual seekers, devotees and people having faith in God and His Love.

About the Authoress

Vasantha Sai (Mrs. M. Vasantha Manoharan), 62 year old Sai devotee, lives at Vadakkampatti village in Madurai District (Tamil Nadu). At the age of 35, in her mediation she got the intuition that Lord Sri Krishna has re-incarnated as Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Since then she has been worshipping Him. The fact that she is Radha’s re-incarnation was first revealed to her by Sri Sathya Sai Baba and it has now been confirmed by the revelations of ancient Naadis (Palm Leaf records) of Suka Muni and Agasthya Muni. She has composed over 1000 devotional songs in Tamil.

Editorial

Billions of Sai devotees throughout the world are fully aware that Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Prasanthi Nilayam (Puttaparthi), Andhra Pradesh, is the unique Purna Avatar (Full incarnation of God) in the modern times. His incarnation in this most difficult, strife-torn and restless age is to uphold the highest values of Sathya (Truth), Dharma, Shanti (peace), Prema (love) and Ahimsa (non-violence). His divine teachings and the fame of His most thrilling chamatkaras (miracles) are spreading fast in all the nooks and corners of the world. Countless books have already been written on Him describing His Avataric life, miracles, messages, philosophy, and great contributions to the mankind's welfare and rapid spiritual upliftment.

This book ‘Liberation! Here Itself! Right Now!’ by a 62 year old lady Sai devotee from a remote village Vadakkampatti in Tamil Nadu state of India is a very unique and thrilling book among the countless books on Sri Sathya Sai Baba's miracles.

It is so because the authoress Mrs. Vasantha Sai is a unique Sai devotee. According to the revelations made by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to her in her meditations and through His concrete evidences given to her out of His loving grace, she is the very re-incarnation of Radha --- the Hladini Shakti (Blissful Enrupturing Energy) of Lord Krishna who Himself has in 1926 re-incarnated as Sri Sathya Sai, the ‘Sai Krishna’ of our times. The latter revealed this vital information to her some years back, just as He had revealed to Little Heart, the authoress of the book ‘Divine Graciousness’ (1991) which was blessed and signed by Baba Himself, that she was in one of her births Radha's younger brother (Sri Dama) who along with Radha used to play with child Krishna in Vrindavan about 5000 years back. Little Heart has mentioned her such visions and direct suggestions by Sri Sathya Sai Baba in her book. Countless Sai devotees might have read that book.

After that unique book ‘Divine Graciousness' we have this book ‘Liberation! Here Itself! Right Now!’ by Mother Vasantha Sai who had earlier been Radha, the Beloved Divine Consort of Lord Krishna. The ancient Suka Naadi (ancient palm leaf records by Suka Muni), which are available at Chennai (Tamil Nadu), have now fully confirmed that this very lady Vasantha is the re-incarnation of Lord Krishna's Radha. This information in details was collected by Mr. C. Krishna Moorthi, B.E., Deputy Executive Engineer, Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) only recently, on 4th April, 1999. This very revelation was earlier obtained by Mr. C. Krishna Moorthi also from another ancient Naadi ‘Agasthyar Maha Siva Naadi’, on 26th November, 1998. Here is an extract of that Naadi reading about Vasantha:

"Mother Vasantha lived during the historical period of Pandavas and Sri Krishna during Dwapar yuga in her previous birth. Then her name was ‘Radha’, Gopika who had great devotion towards Lord Krishna. At the time of her leaving, Radha prayed for Krishna, and Krishna appeared in front of Radha. Radha prayed Lord Krishna to give her one boon that she would be again born as a village lady and that she would again give Prema (love) to Him during His next Avatar. Lord Krishna granted her the above boon and afterwards Radhadevi's soul merged in Lord Krishna. By virtue of that boon, the same ‘Radha’ is again born as Vasantha. Lord Sri Krishna of Dwapar yuga is Bhagavan Sri Sathya Baba of Puttaparthi.".....

"Mother Vasantha will build temples, ashrams and many charitable trusts for the benefit of the poor. Annadanam service to the poor will be the main charitable service in Her Ashram."

"By the Grace of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and by the blessings of great yogis, Siddhas Purushas and many great saints Mother will get liberation in a unique manner ... Mother's soul along with her physical body will be transformed into sacred Jyoti and go to Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and merge into Him."

Thus, this is a unique book by a Sai devotee with such highly impressive spiritual credentials.

This overall message of the book is that any one can get liberation here itself and right now, if he or she completely surrenders to the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and loves and remembers Him at every moment of life with intense devotion.

foreword - I

Sai Sister Smt. Vasantha is inspired by Sri Sathya Sai Baba who is truly Sri Krishna. She is deeply devoted to Him and her tongue constantly utters the holy name of Sai Krishna.

Sai Krishna has been bestowing His grace and showing visions to sister Vasantha in her meditation for over three decades.

The divine book "Liberation! Here Itself! Right Now!" is the unique collection of her divine visions and experiences of Sai Krishna.

As we go through the book, we have the Darshan of Sri Saraswati Devi, the Deity of knowledge and wisdom.

Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba blessed this book by autographing its manuscript, when He very graciously visited my house at Madurai on 7th May, 1997. This is more than enough proof for the authenticity of her divine visions and experiences.

Sister Smt. Vasantha has also written and released a book of poems ‘Sri Sai Gananjali’, which contains 1000 devotional poems in the same divine path.

I believe that this book of unique divine aroma eloquently shows the depth of the prema of our Lord Sai.

I pray that Smt. Vasantha may be blessed by our Lord to continue doing her divine work.

Foreword - II

"Om Sri Sai Ram"

We see Love walking on two legs at Prashanthi Nilayam! Sai Brothers! Sai Sisters! Join me! Let us start from Vadakkampatti, a small village in Tamil Nadu. What do we find here? Prema! Prema! Prema!

She is a matchless example of Prema! She is the very definition of Prema! She is Mrs. Vasantha Monoharan!

It may be unbelievable to many that such a loving being lives truly in this Kali age! You are going to meet her and going to be inspired, illuminated and elevated to spiritual height by this simple Sai devotee from a village.

Is it true in this Kali age?

Are her narrations of Sai’s divine grace on her given in this book true?.

Can a devotee bind the Lord with love and devotion today?

Does Swami (Sri Sathya Sai) really speak to her daily and take her to Kailash, Vaikuntha and Gokul and even to Nara Narayana Gufa?

This unique devotee Smt. Vasantha will raise up these mysterious questions and clear the cobwebs of your doubts here itself and right now!

Whenever Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the great saint and guru of Sri Vivekananda, heard the name of the Lord, he used to fall into trance (Samadhi). Similarly, whenever the authoress of this unique book thinks of Sri Krishna, Sri Ranga, Sri Narayana, her eyes shed tears of ecstasy! You will witness this and you will be thrilled to know the depth of devotion and prema towards Sri Krishna of this devotee.

Let me tell the readers how I came to know her.

I am a physician living at Paramakudi, 100 kms from Vadakkampatti, Smt. Vasantha's native village. How did the divine communications begin with sister Vasantha? A triangular flow of letters linked me with the authoress and Sri G. Venkataram of Viruddhachalam. This triangle is a plan of our Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The authoress Mrs. Vasantha visited our house at Paramakudi. His leelas soon began! Swami answered her letter kept in our pooja room, by autographing it. Her 30 years of tears of prema have been rewarded by Swami to her great surprise and pleasure! She has preserved that memorable letter even today!

Her precious letters carrying those divine, unbelievable yet true messages would come to me once or twice a week. They stirred our feelings of Swami’s wonderful grace and leelas, and brought out tears of love in the eyes of all the four members of my family.

When these letters continued, an inner feeling rose in me. Oh! what a depth of prema! Should these wondrous experiences of prema and devotion be known merely to my family and Sri G. Venkataramanan of Viruddhachalam --- a tiangle then drawn by Baba? I thought : Should this Prema Bhakti be kept shining like a small lamp kept within a pot? This lamp must illumine brightly on top of a mountain so that it may bring light and joy to the hearts of pious souls all over the world.

Sister Vasantha, an enchanting figure of love, silence and simplicity, knows and is concerned about Swami only. She does not need any one else! She speaks less than 10 or 12 words per day! All the time she is engrossed in her inward communication with Him.

In the Dwapara yuga, Sri Krishna got bound by the will of Sahadeva, one of the brothers of the Pandavas of Mahabharatha fame. Later Sri Krishna leaving Pandarpur, served as a simple servant as Kandia Krishna for 12 years, under the great saint Ekanath, while the latter was engaged in giving discourse on Ramayana!

Similarly Sai Baba has been caught by Vasantha's genuine love. "Your continuous craving for the Lord, the cry, the prema vahini, your tears of love have bound Me up here into you and they prevent Me from doing other duties!", Sri Sathya Sai Baba has told her. Oh! what a love! what a depth of prema!" You will hear such nectarine words of Swami about this unique devotee in this book.

We know that these days there are television channels like TV Raj, TV Vijay, etc. There is a unique TV at Vasantha's house. Its name is Prashanthi TV. During her meditation in the Pooja-room, she experiences some vision and also has dialogue with Swami.

Doubting whether they are true things or illusory she comes to the hall and switches on the TV. She demands proofs for the vision and dialogue in the hall. Whatever doubts she has, they are melted away by the proofs shown on her home T.V. most surprisingly and inspiringly.

To many people this may appear as quite unbelievable, but this is, infact, a true spiritual phenomenon occuring with her daily.

Her's is not a book to be read as a fiction! Enjoy each and every step she takes towards Swami, digest and assimilate and get His bliss. This is the purpose of this book. "Of all My creations you are the best" --- Swami speaks of the authoress thus! These divine words prove her purity, Prema Bhava and spiritual greatness.

Dear Readers! I have revealed only a bit about her. As a matter of fact, she is the re-incarnation of Radha of Sri Krishna who has re-incarnated as Lord Sri Sathya Sai Baba, our dearest Sai Krishna.

Let us catch hold of Sai Krishna and put Him in the prison of our heart by adhering to the paths shown by this great devotee I have seen, met and experienced!

Jai Sri Sai Ram.

Foreword - III

If we say God is the Ocean of Mercy, then we must realise that His creations including human beings are just like our holy rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, Sindhu, Cauvery, Saraswati, Narmada and Godavari which are all named in feminine gender. Why? They are marching, flowing towards their only husband (Ocean) to marry Him and merge in Him.

God is the only Purush, the Masculine being, and so He is called Purushottam. We are all like Radha, Rukmani, Meera and Andal.

Here you see sister Vasantha, a pious woman living in a remote village of South India. To save the humanity in this Kali Age, God has descended on the earth as Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He is Sarvadevata Swaroopan. All the forms of worship and God's names reach Him only at her village Vadakkampatti near Virudhunagar. How great the lady devotee is! I am very thankful to our Lord Sai Krishna for remembering me though sister Vasantha and her beautiful autobiography.

Translator's Note

"Gateway to our birth is our past deeds,

Gateway to liberation is Baba’s feet indeed".

Dear Readers,

Before you enter this eternal palace of Liberation I request you to halt for a while at the Gateway of God. Enter this gate with the following prayer :

"Lead me from untruth to truth,

Lead me from darkness to light,

Lead me from death to divinity"

Dear Readers! The original authoress of this book is Mrs. M. Vasantha. She has written it in Tamil with the same title of this book, ‘Liberation! Here Itself! Right Now! According to Bhagavan Baba’s will and command I have translated this from Tamil to English.

I have met Dr. Kothandapani many times at Puttaparthi. I have taken a photo also with him with ‘Kavadi’ (a festival symbol of Lord Muruga) around my neck on the occasion of Baba’s Birthday. Three months back I received a letter from the doctor. Before opening the letter, I thought that the contents of the letter would be regarding some Sai Seva (Service). But after opening it, to my utter astonishment, the letter dealt with a different and interesting matter. Swami had told Vasantha in her meditation that her Tamil book should be published in English also and it should be translated by me. Swami had mentioned to her my name and village also. At once I jumped with joy like a child. When I went through these lines, I felt a strange, sweet smell of a holy flower, as a token of Baba’s blessing on my translation and His presence.

I had my own doubt, whether I would be successful in this translation, because I knew translation is a difficult job. There is a saying - "Good translation is a god epic". But already I had the experience of translating Baba’s Vahini series and other books like Chinnakatha, Eswaramma etc. in Tamil. Though I had the experience, still I feared a little. I am a retired Professor of Tamil. Indeed it is a funny thing that a Tamil professor is translating it into English. My English knowledge is not strong enough. So I feared a little to translate. When I was fearing and hesitating like this, Baba appeared in Vasantha’s meditation and told, "Tell Vijayaraman not to fear, I am with him when he writes". After this assurance of Swami, I gained strength and wrote with confidence. Generally, whenever I began to write, I would fully surrender and catch hold of the lotus feet of Swami in a subtle way and pray, "Swami! I am only an instrument in your hands. It is you that writes every word. So please make me write well and save me. I will not take my hands from the subtle feet of Baba, until my physical body is filled with spiritual energy of Swami. So I request the readers also to surrender well as per the maxim given below. If you surrender, what will happen? Let us all remember :

"Sai knows what is the best,

He will look after the rest".*

The contents of this book are arranged not in the chronological order of events but in the order of chapter titles. So I request the readers not to give importance to the dates, but only to the subject matter.

The authoress Vasantha is not only a writer, but also a very good Tamil poetess. She has written thousands of poems in her diary. But you will see only a few of them in this book. Let me give one or two of her specimens :

"He holds your hands unto the last moment of liberation,

You hold His feet with aspiration, the only qualification".

"I am not Indra with 1000 eyes to enjoy Your splendour,

I am not Ananda with 1000 tongues to praise Your glory,

I am not Arjuna with 1000 hands to salute Your feet,

Alas! I am an ordinary mortal, born in this dark world".

Both the hero and heroine of this play (book) is Mrs. Vasantha. At the same time Dr. Kothandapani, Mr. G. Venkatraman and Mr. J.V. Krishnamurthy also have played important roles. Of course, the director of the play is undoubtedly Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself. Readers would be meeting them very often in the following pages. Kindly keep in your memory the following abbreviations to make your reading brisk and fruitful.

Vasantha - V.

Dr. Kothandapani - Dr. K.P. or Dr.

Venkatraman - G.V.

Krishnamurthy - J.V.K.

The word ‘Cry’ is repeated very often in this book. Mrs. Vasantha has cried lakhs of times in her life to attain Lord Krishna like Radha. Though there are different words like wailing, weeping etc. to denote it, she is very particular in using the word ‘Cry’. because whenever Baba talks about Bhakti Yoga, He uses this word very often. But readers should note that this is not worldly ‘cry’, but spiritual cry which is blissful cry. The tears of materialism would be salty in their taste but the tears of spiritualism would be sweet in their taste. Swami has stated to Vasantha :

"I am not in the ocean of milk;

but only in the ocean of your tears".*

Many television scenes and conversations are included in this book to prove the unbelievable things. On the basis of this, don’t think that this authoress is crazy of seeing films and dramas. She never goes out to see films and dramas. She will switch on T.V. only whenever she wants an evidence to confirm the unbelievable miracles being experienced by her.

There are three parts in this book. The third part consists of interesting spiritual conversation between Baba and the authoress in the form of question and answer. Every question is thought-provoking. Let me give one question here:

"Swami! why have you created so many people and made them whirl in ever so many desires, greediness and sufferings?"

I request the readers to find its answer inside the book. Let it be a suspense at present.

Some five years back I had an interview with Baba. I wanted to give a slip to Baba with 10 demands. But now I remember only the last 3 demands. They are given below:

(1) Baba, I want to serve the whole world. Please give me the strength and health to do that service.

(2) I want only Bhakti and Mukti.

(3) I want to attain liberation in this birth itself.

But Baba didn’t take my slip.  He asked nothing about my demands. When I was about to cross the footstep of the interview room, Swami mentioned about my last two demands, but not the first.

"Let Me bestow upon you Bhakti and Mukti", told Swami with His soft, sweet voice. I came out of the interview with my hair standing upright. But still I had one doubt persisting in my mind, "Why did Swami not respond to my 'World service' demand"? This question was haunting me. Later I consoled myself thinking that perhaps I might not be qualified to serve the world. Now the time has ripened for my world service. Baba has found a short cut route for my world service, by giving me a chance to translate this Tamil book into English. I thank Baba 1000 times with my whole-hearted gratitude for His grace and compassion towards me. Let me promise readers that I will serve Baba until my last breath and if I have one more birth, definitely I will serve His next incarnation Prema Sai also.

I am thankful to my wife V. Manonmani for her untiring co-operation, in the preparation of this book. My thanks go to Prof. M. Ramasamy also who is an ardent devotee of Bhagavan Sai and a close friend of mine. He has revised my manuscript and made several corrections from the first page to the last page.

Let the credit of all the merits of this book go to the Universal Master Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Dear Readers! now let me take leave from you with these few words.

"Practice three things: Ahimsa, Sathyam, Brahmacharya. God loves three things : Liberation, the wise, selfless service".

Sai Baba has said that all the creation exists for one purpose : "The expression of Love". "You are My life, My breath, My soul. You are all My forms". Let us all surrender at His divine feet.

Now you need not wait and stand in the queue at the Gate-way of God. You have the right and merit to enter the God’s Palace of Liberation and enjoy enchanting spiritual scene, in the nooks and corners of it without interruptions.

"Life is love, enjoy it,

Love is Sai, experience it,

Sai is Vasantha, merge with them".

Jai Sai Ram.

Preface

"God is my strength, God is my love, God is my friend, God is my beloved, my only one. When He is absent from me, I am bereft of everything; I am a beggar. When He is with me, I am filled with love and joy, I am filled with courage and strength."

--- Sri Sri Dayamata

The above narration suits my life very much I lived for God. I lived with God. Now I have merged with God. These words are not mine, but Baba’s "Duty, devotion, discipline". Swami quotes these words very often. I do my household duties such as cooking, sweeping, washing and cleaning the vessels whenever and wherever they are necessary. But I spend most of my time in Japa, Puja, prayer and meditation with discipline.

When I practised my spiritual sadhana, I had various kinds of visions and darshans. I wrote all these experiences of mine in my diary. I have written down my 35 years long experiences and emotions in that personal diary. I did not reveal them to any one else, not even to my family members. But later-on when Sathya Sai Baba entered my life, I conveyed my diary messages, bit by bit, to Dr. Kothandapani of Paramakudi and Mr. G. Venkatraman of Virudachalam. Hundreds of unbelievable things are recorded there in my diaries. For instance, I am an ordinary house wife. I cannot (nobody can) go to Nara Narayana Gufa Ashram, because it is situated among snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. Even the boundary protection army soldiers cannot go there. But Baba took me there and showed the Akshyapatra (an undiminishing food supplying vessel).

Dear Readers! can you believe this incident? Belief is more important than reasoning for a spiritual seeker. Baba had said, "Your belief is more powerful than My divine power." There is a saying like this :

"Believe yourself.

Believe your Guru.

Believe your God".

Dr. K.P. and Mr. G.V. believed every word of my diary with such confidence. I request the readers to have the same belief. "Total faith in God is greater and stronger than God Himself". Then Swami installed Himself in the core of my heart permanently and guided me how to write this book. I am glad to reveal to my readers that the very little of this book, "Liberation! Here Itself! Right Now!" was given by Baba Himself to me.

You know that there are four kinds of yogas, namely Karma yoga, Bhakti yoga, Raj yoga and Jnana yoga. The Karma yoga deals with action, Bhakti yoga is devotion, Raj yoga is concerned with meditation and Jnana yoga is superior wisdom. Though all the yogas are inter-connected with one another, this book mainly deals with Bhakti yoga, the promotion of which is the aim of this book.

What is Bhakti yoga? It is nothing but Love yoga. You must fill your heart with love, love and love alone, as I did and do towards the Krishna of Kaliyuga, that is Sathya Sai. And what actually is the nature of love? Love is divine. Love is God, and God is love. Baba says. "So, you will find that once you have attained this state of love, you have actually attained Me". Love knows no difference.

So one should love every one, irrespective of caste, community and creed. You can love God, you can love human beings, you can love animals, birds, plants and even inert soil and stone. A literate can love and so also an illiterate can love. A black man can love and a white man also can love. Oh, how wonderful this love is! Who is eligible to read this book? All those who have love in their heart are eligible to do so.

I have experienced that one can live in the spiritual world which is entirely different from this material world. This miracle happens only by the will or grace of the super -most power which is beyond our capacity, worldly knowledge, intelligence and even research faculty. Every one laughs at what he has not heard sofar by his ears and what he has not seen sofar by his eyes. Whether one believes in the contents of this book or not, its truth and divinity will never change. I promise by God that all the scenes and visions mentioned in this book are nothing but truth.

I give below some examples of such unbelievable things. Can a boat move without oars? But it moves smoothly. Have you heard of the Silver Island? Swami created a separate Silver Island for me. When I went to Nara Narayan Gufa Ashram with Swami, He showed me the eleven sadhakas doing penance. You know that a parrot only can speak; but the swan (a heavenly bird) of Silver Island addressed me by my name : "Vasantha! Vasantha!".

Saints and sages of different ages, like Vyasa, Vishwamitra and Narada visited my house and blessed me. There are so many incidents and spiritual visions like these experienced by me and recorded in this book. Enter this magnificent palace of Liberation, see all the wonderful and beautiful scenes and rejoice yourself.

"Utter Sai’s name; and live with fame

And suffer no more in the life’s game.

Sai knows what is the best,

He will look after the rest".

I belong to Tamil Nadu, a South Indian State. So naturally this book of mine was first published in Tamil, which is my mother tongue. Dr. Kothandapani, Mr. G. Venkatraman, Mr. J.V. Krishnamurthy and Mr. K.R. Krishnamurthy were the main pillars in constructing this grand building (book). An humble woman Sai devotee’s personal and spiritual experiences have now become an open book, by the efforts of these four earnest devotees. Mr. L.K. Vijayaraman, a retired Tamil Language Professor of the Teachers Training College, Saidapet, Madras, has very kindly translated this book into English from Tamil.

Very often I go to Dr. K.P.'s house and stay as his guest for 3 or 4 days. So, I know every member of his family personally. His wife Sivamani daily gets different visions from Siva Linga in her Jyoti (Light) meditation. The doctor’s son and daughter are also staunch Sai devotees with fine qualities such as love, compassion, sacrifice etc. The following is the routine programme of the doctor and his family - family duty, hospital duty, Sai Seva, such as treating cases of leprosy and children’s diseases etc. I do not know how I can repay his family for their genuine love and kindness towards me. I can only pray Baba to bestow upon them health, wealth and happiness.

Mr. G.V. guided me a lot in writing this book, Swami would narrate all my experiences to G.V. and then he would write all those to the doctor. Thus through this triangular love play Mr. G.V. revealed my experiences to the outer world. In fact, I had no intention at all to publish this book. Mr. G.V. is an ardent devotee of Baba. His devotion is such that whenever he goes to the market on his cycle, Swami would appear to him sitting on the carrier of his cycle. Do you expect any more evidence to prove G.V.’s intimacy than this?

Mr. J.V. Krishnamurthy goes to the nooks and corners of even remote villages and deliver lectures about Sathya Sai messages. Generally one cannot find him at his home because he would be going to do some Sai service. K.R. Krishnamurthy helped me a lot in arranging this book in order. He came for six days and stayed upto 12 P.M. (mid-night) to write this book. How can I offer my gratitude to these earnest serviceminded devotees? I pray Baba to bestow on these people a very happy, prosperous and peaceful life.

All that I want in this birth is Krishna, Krishna and Krishna only. So I like devotees more than my relatives. I consider those who think of the Lord as the superior soul are great indeed. An infinite super power has shrunk and incarnated itself into a small form, with the name Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The aim of this book is to reveal the gracious flow of the compassion of this super power, amidst us today.

"Now you are at the top of the palace,

Where you will find the pot of nectar,

You can begin to drink it freely now,

You have attained the pot of prema,

You have attained the pot of salvation."

Now devotees and readers have become my relatives. I wish you all good health, long life, prema and peace. You are now the children of God. God is with you. Be happy with the blessings of God.

About three years ago, my husband Mr. Manohar and I came to Paramakudi town for the first time to discuss with Mr. G. Venkataraman of Virudachalam, Dr. Kothandapani and Mr. Krishnamurthy of Madurai about the publication of this book.

We thought that if we could get the approval of Swami, it would be interesting and encouraging to continue our work. So we put our file containing the handwritten manuscript and a guava fruit brought from Vadakkampatti at our host’s pooja room. Then we all prayed together.

Swami soon miraculously divided the guava fruit into two halves. We saw ‘Om’ written on one half and ‘Sai’ on the other half. We all rejoiced at this wonder (see ‘Om’ and ‘Sai’ in the photo). Then we noticed the Vinayaka's statue in the puja room of the doctor. Atonce doctor told us that Lord Vinayaka had broken his tusk and used it as pen to write the Mahabharatham. That is why Swami created sacred ash and made it fall from Vinayaka’s (tusk) writing needle as token of His blessings on me to write this divine book (see this also in the photo).

Also there was a shower of Vibhuti from the left side of the statue of the dancing Siva and His foot (see the photo). At once the doctor said, "I would have been happier if the Vibhuti had fallen from Krishna's statue instead of dancing Siva’s. In my meditation, I asked "Swami, the doctor regrets that You had not showered Vibhuti from Krishna’s statue". Swami replied, "Siva has given left half of His body to Parvati (Shakti)." That is why, I showered Vibhuti from Siva Shakti.

"Swami! If Siva gave the left half of His body why did the Vibhuti not fall from Sivalingam? Why did it fall from dancing Nataraja?" I asked.

"I have told you already that I am going to dance, using you as a garland. Don’t you think now that fall of vibhuti from dancing Siva is a suitable miracle? O dull head, you don’t understand even this small thing", replied Swami. Overwhelmed with joy by the approval of Baba, I began to write this book.

Dear Readers, kindly see Vinayaka, Dancing Siva and guava fruit photos carefully. Then only you can see the miracles of the falling vibhuti and the two words ‘Om’ and ‘Sai’ on the two halves of the fruit.

I had left my manuscript of this book at the residence of Mr. P.S.A. Subramanian Chettiar, Madurai. When Swami (Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba) visited his house, Mr. Srinivasan, son of Subramanian Chettair told Him. "Swami! They have written Your conversations with Mrs. Vasantha as a book". Swami turned the pages of the file and asked, "It has been written in Tamil?" "Yes, Swami; You have talked with her in Tamil only. So they have written in Tamil", replied Srinivasan.

"Yes, I talked with her in Tamil. Alright, what shall I do now?" asked Swami.

"They want your Autograph. Then Swami took the manuscript file and signed, "With Love, Baba". "See here; I have written with big letters". At once, on the spot they took a photo of Swami’s signature.

Swami’s signature was different from His usual signature, ‘i’ was missing in the word ‘with’. But there was an invisible very small ‘i’, that ‘i’ was hidden among the three lines of ‘w’. Only after searching, we were able to see it. "Swami, you have written a very small ‘i’ and that too connected with that big ‘w’. Let me know the meaning and significance of the ‘i’." I wrote like this on 18-5-97.

"I means Myself. This spirit whirls itself saying I and I. After getting superior wisdom (Jnana) it says, "Every thing is you, you and itself. If you join double ‘U’ (U+U) it becomes ‘W’, ‘i’ disappears and diffuses with ‘you’. That is, Jivatma, living human being, merges with Paramatma God. Now mukti (Liberation) is attained; you have merged with Me. Now there is no individuality of you".

On 10-7-96 Swami gave me darshan and sang the song :

"Let us dance, let us sing that we have attained blissful freedom."

He sang the same song on 13-7-96 also. I asked Him why He had sung this song on two occasions.

Swami replied :"You have attained freedom, salvation". To confirm his above statement, which was uttered on some earlier occasions, Swami has proved now by the above signature.

"So many beauties we see in outside nature,

So many visions we have in our inner nature,

All beauties and visions are in Swami’s signature".

acknowledgement

I am grateful to Bhagavan Sai Sathya Sai Baba for His perennial love and grace. I am thankful to Sri P.S.A. Subramanian Chettiar, Dr. S. Kothandapani, Sri G. Venkataraman, Sri J.V. Krishna Murthy and Sri C. Krishna Moorty and all the members of my family --- my husband Sri Manoharan, my son and my daughter-in-law.

My thanks and prayers are for the Vasan Offset Printers, Paramakudi, whose owner Sri K.V. Govindaram and his beloved brother Sri K.V.Subburam, voluntarily came forward at Kodaikanal in 1997 to print the first edition of this book, during Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s visit and did the computer offset printing with devotion and as an offering to the Lotus feet. This was the first book in their new Computerised Offset Print. I pray that their press should receive all the blessing of our Lord. I wish them and their sons Sri K.G. Kuppusamy and Sri K.G. Srinivasan all happiness and prosperity in their new venture. Without their uninterrupted, sincere and devoted involvement, this book would not have seen the light of the day.

I am grateful to Sai brother Prof. Satya Pal Ruhela for very kindly correcting and editing this book.
